We have partnered with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new company in preparation for the launch of a new digital bank.
We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Entra Id and ID Management specialist as part of this initiative.
※ This position involves employment with Money Forward, Inc., and a secondment to the new company (SMBC Money Forward Bank Preparatory Corporation). The evaluation system and employee benefits will follow the policies of Money Forward, Inc.
In this role, you’ll be the “go to person” for all things EntraID and related technologies. Keep up with Microsoft’s latest technologies to maintain and improve our ID management system. Participate in projects such as the introduction of new SaaS and group join, and design, build, and operate Entra ID as needed.

Responsibilities
- Develop management policies and overall design for user principals, service principals, and dynamic groups.
- Design, implement, and operate Infrastructure as Code systems using Github and Terraform.
- Collaborate with our security specialists to implement security designs using CIS Controls and CIS Benchmarks.
- Implement ID management, group management, and SAML/SCIM.
- Drive the integration project of the company’s ID management system for group join.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in managing and operating Entra ID or Azure Active Directory.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and concepts
- Basic scripting skills.
- Understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, SCIM, and OAuth.
- Experience working in an Agile project team.
- English: Business level (equivalent to TOEIC score of 700 or above)
- Note: Since the scope of work includes overseas locations, meetings and text communications will occur in both Japanese and English.
- Candidates who do not possess a qualification equivalent to a TOEIC score of 700 or above will be required to take a company-designated test during the selection process (generally expected after the first interview)
Nice to haves
While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.
- Experience in managing and operating Azure, knowledge of ISMS.
- Knowledge and experience with Terraform.
- 3+ of experience of managing projects of various complexity with multiple stakeholders.
- Microsoft SC-300 Certification (Identity and Access Administrator Associate) or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes.
- Money Forward recently announced our AI Strategy roadmap which focuses on improving AI-driven operational efficiencies, as well as integrating AI agents into our products to deliver better value to our users.
Compensation
¥5,808,000 ~ ¥15,000,000 annually.
